Our next task was to annotate two books on the different elements they have. I chose Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy and Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. I did these two as both are opposite genres, from different eras, different audiences and opposite designs, therefore making it a good opportunity to compare them both. I ensured to choose books with dust covers so that I could annotate the contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity of the whole book cover.
